Curt has over 16 years of experience in the high tech industry
with over 12 years of upper-level management experience. He
was a part of the phenomenal growth that characterized the
early years of WordPerfect Corporation where he became a pioneer
in the delivery of international products to the global marketplace.
Curt played an integral part in designing and managing WordPerfect
Corporation's world class international development organization
- one of the first in the world to produce software products
on a simultaneous release schedule and to release products
in over 30 different languages.
In 1995 Curt began his own consulting firm that helped clients
achieve the highest possible ROI from their international
markets. Dealing with all aspects of international success,
from marketing to development to localization, Curt quickly
became a popular speaker at various international seminars
and symposiums both in the United States and Europe. Curt
received the only perfect evaluation in the history of The
Globalization Management Strategies Conference for a presentation
he delivered on the importance of proper globalization in
the high tech industry. During his five years as a professional
consultant, Curt worked directly with the management teams
of dozens of companies to help them achieve a 30% to 60% higher
return on investment from their international markets.
Curt was later hired by Caldera International to be their
Director of Corporate Strategy where he helped with the integration
process of newly acquired companies and was a major player
in the creation of UnitedLinux - a worldwide partnership involving
companies from each of the major geographies of the world.
Curt also formulated an exciting new corporate strategy and
business plan for the company that helped to enticed over
a dozen large investment firms to investigate Caldera. This
strategy helped to solidify strategic partnerships with major
industry players as well as rejuvenate a large customer base
during a sluggish economy.
During his 16-year career Curt has built an extensive list
of accomplishments in the areas of management, mergers and
acquisitions, corporate development, corporate strategy, consulting,
marketing, sales, and creating solid partnerships with synergistic

Paul Allen : Chairman of the Board / Founder
10x Marketing was founded in Feb. 2002 by Paul Allen. Paul
is an experienced entrepreneur, CEO and Marketing Executive.
His first startup company, Infobases Inc., published religious
and educational CD ROMs. As CEO, Paul helped the company grow
from zero to $4 million in revenue in just five years, garnering
honors from Inc. Magazine in 1996 as one of the 500 fastest
growing privately held companies in the U.S.
Shortly thereafter, Paul and a business partner acquired
Ancestry, a small genealogy reference publisher in Salt Lake
City, with revenues of under $800,000 per year. By focusing
on acquiring and creating genealogy databases and publishing
them on the Web, Ancestry.com grew into an Internet powerhouse,
becoming the leading Internet genealogy company by 1999.
In late 1998 the company launched its MyFamily.com service,
which provides private password protected Websites for families.
It became one of the fastest growing Internet sites of all
time. The company then raised more than $75 million in venture
capital and changed its name to MyFamily.com.
Paul opened the company's San Francisco office in 1999 and
drove the acquisitions of RootsWeb, the oldest and largest
genealogy community on the Internet, and Ah-ha.com, a top
10 pay-per-click search engine family-friendly search results.
Relocating from Silicon Valley back to Provo in January 2001,
Paul assisted his brother Curt Allen (formerly Chairman of
MyFamily.com) in leading the Series E fund-raising round which
brought an additional $15 million of capital into the company
and helped bring the company into its present strong financial
position.
Serving most recently as its Vice President of Marketing,
he helped the company reach 10 million monthly visitors and
over 800,000 paid subscriptions, making MyFamily.com one of
the three largest content subscription services on the Web,
behind Wall Street Journal and Consumer Reports.
Paul served on the MyFamily.com board of directors from 1997
to 2001. He is one of the largest individual shareholders
in the company. He currently serves on the board of directors
of Power-Glide Inc. and eFamily (Ah-ha.com).
Paul also owns and publishes WorldHistory.com, a leading
history Website with nearly 100,000 monthly visitors.
Richard Stauffer : Chief Architect
Richard Stauffer has brought his many talents to become Chief
Architect for 10x Marketing, Inc.
For the past 5 years Richard has been the architect and senior
developer behind Ancestry.com's search engine that handles
millions of visitors each month and searches well over one
billion names. He also spent several years developing custom
interfaces for searching many CD-ROM products for InfoBases,
Inc.
Richard worked for Ameritech Library Systems for four years.
In 1993, he received a degree in Computer Science from Brigham
Young University. He gained an extensive background in library
programming services by working with libraries all over the
world. He started his own company, Stauffer Consulting, that
creates custom software for everything from rodeos to the
legal profession.
